The Idaho Liberty Bell Tour is a statewide celebration connected to America’s 250th anniversary in 2026. Idaho’s restored Liberty Bell replica is traveling to all 44 Idaho counties so communities can see-—and in many cases ring—the bell before it returns to its permanent home on the steps of the Idaho State Capitol in Boise.
This tour recreates Idaho history. The bell originally came to Idaho in 1950 as one of the Liberty Bell replicas. It traveled around Idaho before being placed at the Capitol in November 1951. The 2026 tour intentionally echoes that original statewide journey.
