As we approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, we have an exciting opportunity to celebrate with our fellow Americans. This journey begins with the anniversary of Paul Revere’s famous ride on April 18–19, 1775.
Minidoka and Cassia Counties have officially proclaimed participation in the Two Lights for Tomorrow initiative—a heartfelt tribute to our nation’s journey to independence and a call for unity in our community.
On the evening of April 18, 2025, we invite you to display two lights in your window. Inspired by Paul Revere’s historic ride, this symbolic gesture reminds us that even in darkness, a single spark of courage can light the way. Then, on April 19, join us for a Day of Service as we come together in our individual capacity to support and strengthen our local community.
Your participation honors our shared history and builds a brighter future for all of us. Let’s shine together and keep our legacy of liberty and service alive.
